Facts you should know
  • This MWS connection is very important! We cannot receive your Amazon data each month and file your vat returns without it. 

  • We receive the data each month on or around the 4th of every month.

  • The data we receive from Amazon on the 4th of each month will be for the previous month’s transactions.

  • If for any reason we can not receive your data or your MWS connection is not working you will receive an automated message asking for you to reconnect/connect your account. 

10 Easy Steps for a successful MWS connection

1. Visit your Integration page at https://app.hellotax.com/ 
2. Open a 2nd  tab in your browser. Using your Primary Amazon user login, log into your Amazon business seller account.
3. Go to Settings then User Permissions in your Amazon seller account.
4. Under Third-party developers and apps click the Visit Manage your Apps button.
5. Click Authorize a Developer.
6. Enter the developer name hellotax and the developer ID 0296-2190-5509
7. Once done click next 
8. Once you accept terms and click next you will view your Seller ID and MWS Authentication Token. (You will need to copy both for step 9). 
9. Go back to your 1st browser tab with the hellotax software integration and copy your Seller ID and MWS Authentication Token into your Integration page. *Ensure there are no blank spaces!
10. Click Save once entered and you will receive a confirmation on the top of the page if the connection was successful.
